Do you have a great beauty idea but not sure where to start? Decide whether Custom Development or Private Label is best for you.

Custom Development is perfect if exclusivity is the ideal choice for your brand. Clients work directly with our team to create the ideal formula. Ingredients are sourced and clients go through a series of samples to make their final selection. From there, formulas are sent to a third party, ISO 9001 certified, FDA and DEA registered testing facility that consists of an expert group of scientists and physicians that offer a range of testing options.

Clients also have the option of 30, 60, 90 and 180 day accelerated stability testing or real-time stability testing for the course of 90 days, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. Primary Irritation Tests are on a set schedule and occur every 3 weeks. Clinical, Microbiology, SPF and additional safety tests (including but not limited to Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist) do not follow a set schedule and are on a first come, first served basis. Please note that panel dates are subject to change at anytime. For more information on testing and dates, please email your designated account representative or check our calendar here.

We offer a free licensing option to clients who choose to have custom formulas and products developed at Alquemie. If you wish to purchase formulas, please notify an account representative and they will assist you with Intellectual Property Agreements.

Our Private Label products are ideal for clients on a strict budget to order 'as is'. Our in-house, pre-made creations are made using organic or certified organic, vegan and plant based ingredients as well as FDA approved pigments. Our private label formulas are also free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates and our nail polish bases are 10 free, 'vegan' blends. All private label formulas have undergone stability, PET, HRIPT and in-vitro irritation tests.
